Refund & Cancellation Policy

1 All payments made towards Smart Prepaid Electricity Meter Recharge / Top-up are strictly Non-Refundable.
2 Consumers are advised to verify the Consumer ID, Meter Number, and recharge amount before completing any transaction.
3 Cancellation and/or amendment of a confirmed recharge request shall be governed by the prevailing refund and cancellation policy of the respective Garrison Engineer (GE) Office.
4 Any applicable cancellation or amendment charges, service fees, or processing charges shall be borne solely by the consumer.
5 Refunds, wherever applicable and approved by the competent authority, shall be processed only through direct communication with the concerned GE Office or through the official email address.
6 Refund requests must include complete transaction details, including Transaction ID, Consumer ID, Date of Transaction, and Recharge Amount for verification.
7 Processing time for approved refunds may vary depending on the payment gateway, banking institution, and administrative procedures.
8 Garrison Engineer (South) Tezpur reserves the right to modify or update this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time without prior notice.

2 On successful registration, a unique Application/Consumer ID will be generated for future reference.
3 Users are responsible for providing accurate and complete information during registration.
4 Once the registration is confirmed, submitted information cannot be modified through the portal.
5 Users may print or download their application/registration details after successful submission.
6 A valid Mobile Number and Email Address are mandatory for registration and communication.
7 Verification of submitted information and supporting documents shall be carried out by the concerned GE Office whenever required.
8 Registration or services may be cancelled if false, incomplete, or misleading information is provided.
9 Any additional service requests or applications must be submitted through the registered user account.
10 All consumers shall comply with the rules, policies, and instructions issued by Garrison Engineer (South) Tezpur from time to time.
